Within my artistic realm, I expose the raw wounds of displacement and rebirth. Aching narratives from The Great Divide of 1947. It’s a canvas painted with tales of people leaving their roots, facing the unknown. Starting anew. The vibrant palette conceals the terror beneath the smiling face-the silent screams, the unseen scars, the agony. Their eyes bear witness to untold anguish, unheard stories lingering in the recesses of time. and while I rummage through their tales, I find fragments of shared history, connecting their journey to the echoes of my ancestors.
